Terms of Service

1. The service

CrypseVault helps individuals understand and reduce their exposure online. It includes dark web and identity monitoring, search tools, an AI Security Advisor, a threat intelligence feed and access to an expert marketplace. We work hard to keep the service accurate and available, but we provide it on an as is and as available basis.

The service supports your security decisions. It does not replace your own judgement, and it is not a substitute for professional legal, financial or medical advice.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and verify your email address before using the app. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to use CrypseVault.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use CrypseVault only for lawful purposes and only to protect identities and assets you own or are authorised to monitor. You must not use the service to harass, surveil or target other people, to attempt to breach our systems or those of others, or to misuse any data you access through the platform.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on the cadence you select at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from the Billing page, and you keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Prices are shown before you pay. We may change prices for future periods, and we will give you notice before any change affects you.

5. The expert marketplace

CrypseVault lets you engage independent experts and institutions for serious cases. We act only as a facilitator that introduces you to a vendor and handles invoicing and payment on their behalf.

The vendor is independent and is not our employee or agent. We do not provide the expert service itself and we are not responsible for the engagement, the vendor’s advice, work, conduct or results, the information you share with the vendor, or any dispute between you and the vendor. You accept this when you submit a brief, and you engage a vendor at your own risk.

6. Third party data

Breach and dark web information comes from third party intelligence sources. We present it as accurately as we can, but we cannot guarantee that any dataset is complete or error free, and the absence of a result does not guarantee you have not been exposed.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Encrypse LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for you, for us or for others.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product and the law evolve. If we make a material change we will let you know, and continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
