Privacy Policy

CrypseVault is a personal cybersecurity service operated by The Encrypse LLC. Protecting your information is the reason this product exists, so we hold ourselves to a high standard for how we collect, use and safeguard it. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information you give us

When you create an account we collect your name, email address and the password you choose, which is stored only as a salted hash. During onboarding you may add the details you want us to monitor, such as additional email addresses, phone numbers and your country.

If you contact support or apply to our partner programme, we keep the information you send us so we can respond and, where relevant, review your application.

2. Information we generate

As you use the service we create records such as your security score, the breaches your monitored assets appear in, your usage of metered features, and a history of your searches. This lets us show you a useful, consistent view of your exposure over time.

3. What we deliberately do not store

We never store the passwords you run through the password checker. Password checks use privacy preserving techniques and the value you enter is discarded immediately.

Your search history is redacted at rest. Passwords are recorded only as asterisks and the email portion of credential checks is masked.

We do not see or store your full card number. All payments are processed directly by Stripe, and we only ever receive the card brand and last four digits for display.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to provide the service, to run the monitoring and alerts you ask for, to power your AI Security Advisor with context about your own findings, to process subscriptions, and to keep the platform secure.

We send transactional messages such as email verification, breach alerts and receipts. We only send marketing email if you have explicitly opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

5. Service providers we rely on

To deliver the product we share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers. These include our breach intelligence partner for dark web monitoring, our payment processor for billing, our email provider for transactional messages, and our AI provider for the Security Advisor. Each processes data on our behalf under contract.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account we remove your personal data and deregister your monitored assets, except where we are required to keep certain records, such as transaction history, for legal and accounting purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage much of this directly in the app, and you can contact us for anything else.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, strict access controls, rate limiting, input validation and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to reduce risk and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

9. International users

CrypseVault is available worldwide. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make a material change we will let you know. For any privacy question, contact us at [email protected].
